Lets face it, its a calculator. There are many out there and I have used a bunch of them. Some have very pretty skins to them but at the heart its still a calculator. This one is nice for the fact that it keeps a trail of what you have done. It also lets you copy and paste past results into the current calculation. Very sweet. I don't feel that I will need to look at any other calculator. I'm very happy with this one. For 99 cents you really can't go wrong.
Great basic calculator
I needed a straightforward calculator with scientific functions as well as a multi-line display. After searching through many apps I found this one - it has everything that I need from a calculator. Nothing fancy here, but a great set of features without looking gimmicky. Being able to edit previous entries is a definite plus. Thanks!
Does everything I could want it to - very straightforward and clean. Here's a couple of wishes:
"Clicking" when keys are pressed would be helpful for inputting (or at least the option to turn on key clicks)
Greater (more forgiving) buffer area when placing cursor in front of calculations would help when parenthesizing - for example, it's comparatively easy to place cursor at END of line
Option to make font larger
Ability to double-tap a result to grab it is wonderful! Reminds me of my old Psion pocket computer. But discovered it by accident. Maybe an (i)nfo button in lower-right like many apps have with help and options (wink, wink - keyboard clicks)
I know it's infinitely easier said than done. Again, a wonderful, clean-looking tool.
